I'm a little confused about something from this thread taken from phphacks com about PHPbb boards. In particular this line -

How would I be able to do this? Will I have to individually go through all the files because I don't know of any programmes that can do this. Any ideas?

if u are using dreamweaver or any html editor which allows you to create sites(as in DW) then you can search for a particular word in your site files and then replace them..

in dreamweaver, press CTRL+ F and then in the top drop down say entire site.

in the box where it says find what ,. type subSilver and in the bottom replace box type ur username and then click on replace all..

it will replace all instances of subSilver in the pages(which has subSilver) contained within your site with ur username.

most html editors allow you to do this..

Yes I do have dreamweaver although I wasnt aware of that function. I've never had to use anything like that before.
