I think it depends on the content and size of the frame. As long as your content doesn't exceed the width of the frame, there shouldn't be a horizontal scroll bar.
But then again, I could be wrong...
If whatever is in the frame is wider than the frame your going to get the horizontal scrollbar automatically and the only way to stop it would set it to no scrollbars but then you wont get your vertical scrollbar either...
What I am wanting to do is have a menu, that expands to reveal a sub-menu when you click on the relevant option. I was going to have this in a frame and the body of text in a different frame.
It appears that I won't be able to do what I was wanting with regard not having a horizontal scroll bar.
Do any of you recomend a way to do this without a frame?
i am not sure how to do it. but i know it can be done with javascript without using a frame. look into it if you have the time.
