I am working as a web designer and I am very novice. Does anyone have any advice on any classes or anything that can help me excel with html code and css? Are there any online classes to take or exercises for me to do?

Go down to your nearest library with a rucksack, come out with 10 books. Worked for me. New books every fortnight. I'll think I'll learna bit of ... XML today. Got a book out on that. Never can beat physical books I find.

Same here books work better for me than online tutorial and e-books, just make sure the book your reading is not published aeons ago.

The trick to become a good web designer is to learn from examples. just learn to use to view source code button of your browser, when ever you see a cool site you can check to source to see how things are done there, can get a lot of css ways also there, once you learn how to use a css, you never think of copying anything, things will all come in your creativity
