W3C Error Validating

Can some one please tell me why I can't validate my site that uses UTF-8 character set? http://www.wineinacan.com/

This is the line of code that I am using: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />

Error from W3C:

Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because on line 17 it contained one or more bytes that I cannot interpret as utf-8 (in other words, the bytes found are not valid values in the specified Character Encoding). Please check both the content of the file and the character encoding indication.
The error was: utf8 "\x91" does not map to Unicode

You have more problems than that !

I think your main problem lies there: the ? have nothing to do here.

Use firefox, and install this extention:
http://users.skynet.be/mgueury/mozilla/

Set it up to use the serial algorithm, and you will see, when you look at the document source (ctrl+u) that it does a live analysis of your page, and show you every warning/error.
This extention use the same algorithm as the w3c server.

I've fixed the small error in the head section on this page (http://www.wineinacan.com/), however I still can't fix this error:

It tells you in the error. Look on line 11. See the ? Now do a View -> Page Source from directly in Firefox. See how their are two questions marks within diamonds. These characters are not UTF8. Change or delete them. I take it, that is your copyright symbol.

That line of code is generated by the CMS system that the website sits in, hence I can't change it. Is there any other way to get around the error or will the sites forever fail the w3c validation because of this?

You can try to get some info from this search
http://www.google.com/search?client=...=Google+Search
or contact whoever runs the CMS and see what they recommend. But that character is not UTF-8 and will not validate as such.
