I'm not a fan of youtube's quality. I'm looking for free hosting to upload clips to imbed in my site. Any good ones? I don't mind paying but not too much.

Sure it does. I can upload a crystal clear video to youtube, by the time they do what they do, it's pixelated. Google videos take the image, compresses, then blows it up, horrible quality. I want a service that doesn't change the quality, fine if you make it smaller and the size smaller, I only want a 320px wide video.

Oh i see, you mean when your hosting on someone elses space. If you have hosting, even free hosting, you can select the quality yourself. But what your asking is not really free hosting, but a site that hosts video free of charge and looks good. Host it yourself for control of these issues

I don't even mind paying but I don't want to host them myself, I'd rather use an existing service out there. Know any?

Gringo, Vimeo seems promising, thank you.
