Hi Everyone,

I am asked to design a site for a financial service company. The client wants the entire website redone, but is not able to provide me with any graphics to use on the site. I did some research on sites like corbis.com, and gettyone.com, and it's quite expensive to buy the royalty-free images or the rights-managed images. I was just wondering if anyone here knows a good image solution that I can go to to get quality graphics?

It's not just a one-project concern, so I want to find a service that offers different types of images but at a reasonable price.

Any suggestion or help is highly appreciated.

Thank you!

Elaine

If your are looking for something totally free, www.freeimages.co.uk has some good stuff (although the number of images isn't too high). Some of it even financial.

Also, COSMI has a image cd for $10 (Canadian), the info for it can be found at http://www.cosmi.com/html/product%20...to_objects.htm

I've used it for a few of my sites.

Overall, you can never have too many images. So buy what you can afford and download what you can use for free.

As I webdesigner I'd strongly reccomend investing in a decent digital camera, why look for images for hours when u can think up the idea and go take a shot.. decent canon ones run 300-500 bucks and take mindblowin shots... I'd recommend the canon a60 or a70 cheap, and amazing! never look for shots again...
