I run a video game site with an old design that needs to be modified. Can anyone here read through the information below and help us out with a logo and maybe some headers and other artistic elements? The logo is the focus here, but as you will see, we are looking for other things, too.
Here is the main page as it now looks:
http://www.the-nextlevel.com/.
And here is a page from deeper in the site:

Now, here is the main page with a new layout, but ugly graphics:

And here is a deep page that also has a new layout with ugly graphics:

(Make sure your browser doesn't shrink these images.)
Using those images and keeping in mind that we attract mostly 18-25-year-old gamers that like style
and substance, could you come up with a suitable logo? You can build off our current one, play around with that angular one in the new layouts, or come up with a whole new thing. We aren't targeting kids, so don't break your back trying to be cool. Just make it recognizable and stylish.
We are keeping the same color scheme, as you can see,
but we are not using those headers. The gray headers with the blue text in the JPEG samples are just placeholders. I figure once we get a logo, we can echo the logo's design in the headers, but if anyone has any good ideas now, I'd be happy to entertain them.
You can post here or e-mail me at nick@the-nextlevel.com. I will pay, so long as we agree on a price beforehand.
