so i cannot publish the site yet.

I like that Praveen. Nothing real fancy but professional, clean and to the point. It is the way a resource site should be. Good Job!

The backround color is a little different than usual but I still think I like it. After it's uploaded, you could (in the site review forum) put up different color backrounds on some test pages and have people vote on their favorite if you wanted.

That design's looking good! I agree with Chief, that's a strange background colour!

after a long and disastrous choice of background colors i chose this.

dont know how i got this. but i was playing with the color cubes in dreamweaver and i got this color. thought looked a bit nice.so implemented it.

yes chief, i also have the same idea, put up diff. colors for the background and experiment and get the users opinion on it.

will do so once the site is resolved.

Looks good so far praveen, I think you should go with the color you like best. It's your site and reflects your opinion.
Then again that's just my opinion.

I LOVE the color....the biggest reason I say that is because if you look around there are so many sites that have blue of some sort. The green makes it distinct and rememberable (ok probably not the best word, but I am more likely to remember it than if I saw it in blue. Does that make any sense...? or does it really matter? LOL
