Yes, we have worked on a Tanning Distribution Company's Website, we will include a screenshot of the website. There is no URL of the site yet, because it is not finished. We also have some misc. gfx that we created during spare time...please provide an e-mail address and we will email you some of our other work.

Don't mean to be cruel but the text is unreadable, you should work on making things a bit clearer so that people can read it without straining to do so.

Lippy, the text that is in the Banner is just so people didnt take it and use it..lol.. i have the same banner finished with our company name on it if you would like to see it... the website is a professional design only and not meant to be flashy. It is a clean design that is best suited for professional use...praveen,
can i see a site that you have designed...

I have to agree with Lippy and Praveen, your example is amateurish (no offence). You will need a portfolio of at least a dozen examples of your work to get anyone to hire you.
Don't ask anyone here to show you their work, that is not the point. We are not here to compete on a "I show you mine, you show me yours" level. If Praveen wanted you to review a site of his, he would ask you. You don't have to feel superior to someone to review a site. I can't climb Mount Everest myself, but I can tell you how not to climb it.

My whole point in asking to see some of praveen's work was strictly because if you are going to call someone's work amauterish than you "should" be able to produce some type of work to back up what you think is amauterish. We came on here to maybe find some work, but i guess you people are so full of yourselves that you can't look someones work without critizing other peoples work. Don't get me wrong critizing is good but the way you guys do it is not. I know we are not here on a "you show me your work" thing, but you DONT tell someone that their work is amatuerish without show something that isn't. What is amatuerish? By whose defination is our work amatuerish, yours? Well if it is your defination we dont care. What is so amatuerish about it, tell me that...

JV Here look at my work on my site. I created everything on it. I still don't have my banner or logo section done yet. I'm not real happy with everything on my site. I think what everyone is saying to get work and get paid for it you need a lot of examples and the better they are the more you will get paid. Don't get offended. You have to remember what is said is just opinions.

JV don't get so defensive, your example was amateurish, there is no two ways about it. Don't expect everyone to be in awe of all your work. I am a graphic designer, 99% of the the work I do I throw in the bin as being amateurish. That 1% clicks.
Don't ever ask someone to show you their work to try to prove that they are worthy of critiquing your designs. Did you simply enter this forum to be told how wonderful and talented you are?
Think again. None of us are perfect. If you want to see an example of my work, look here Am I qualified to critique your work?

Ok, I guess we should qualify our remarks and not simply put your work down off-hand.
Your fire and ice header - It is disjointed. The blue and red don't go well together. I think the blue bars you have across the bottom left are great, perhaps try to use that theme over the whole of the header. I know the theme is fire and ice, but it is possible to come up with some good looking blue fire effects. With the two colours is looks like you have taken two separate images and simply stuck them together in the middle. The smoke effect thing in the centre doesn't help. If you could do it again using a constant blue colour and incorporating blue ice and fire I think it would look cool.
By the way Crow, I love your aeroplane. (much better than the second one). What prog did you use?

when you want someone to give you work, you got to show wat you have done. those work are and will be subjected to review and criticism.
just because someone calls ur work amatuerish, doesnt mean that they are right or you are wrong. it is each individual's opinion and does not necessarily reflect the whole group.
ppl tend to rate a person / company based on the kind of the work they have done.
Don't let the criticisms get you down. Use it to ur benefit and work harder and improve your skills.
as for as the fire and ice image is concerned, to put it in simple words ,it is overuse of the plugins (if u have used any) or of the fire and ice effect.
do u have a website where we can see some of your stuff? or have a look at the website??
cheers, take care and all the best for ur venture.

JVcreative,
Don't let the criticisms get you down. Use it to work harder and improve your skills. Some people will love what you do while others will always have bad things to say. These are just a few people opinions, and opinions is what you will get here on Webmaster-Talk. It's not always what you want to here.
I do agree that most of the image samples you have given here could use much improvement. They seem to busy and blurred.
Try and work on making the images more clean, clear and CRISP!
I agree that filters can be over used and turn a rather professional looking image into some tangled junk.
I am no expert with graphics (wish I was). Keep working on it or take some classes at the community college.
Before you will probably get much work, build your website (I don't think you have provided that URL), and provide a portfolio with your best work (with more than just a couple samples).
Good Luck
