Here is an online compression tool I found. I can't vouch for it myself as I haven't used it.

Personaly I use Xat.com image optimizer. It's not free but is certainly the best I have found. It does much more than just compress images. I think they offer a trial download.

Check on hostscripts.com or sourceforge.net. There are a few scripts that will optimize all of your pics. Actually, I might have a free one I'll look for it.
