In particular this question is directed at, everything but logos- I know you give them an .AI, PSP file. But what about business cards, envelopes, stationary, banners, t-shirt design, twitter-facebook-myspace layaout,Poster, Iphone-Ipad App page. Now particularly with the business cards-stationary-envelope-i see alot of winning entries that are "realistic photographs" of the card say in someones hand (or laid out on a desk) Now I KNOW they don't send THAT to the CH, because it would print out as a HAND holding a card, so what do you send them -a template?? I mean, you can try to make rectangle long enough for a stationary or envelope but it may not print out right because you're guessing at the dimensions. It must be a pre-made PS template that u just fill in? Now what about a poster?-in DRAWPLUS it asked me what size i wanted my poster (i made an awesome one just to find out at the end I CANT save as any PS extension. people say there is a EPS printer driver I can use to "trick' program to save as EPS, but then I worry about if it's still scaleable? Also, when the customer gets the .ai .eps., can they edit the layers or are there no more layers after saving? One contest, I believe the CH entrusted designer to upload winning page to Twitter, but what do you submit to them layout wise if they want to do it themselves?-A Twitter template? Iphone template? Sorry for long question but really really appreciate your Promt and knowledge!

EPS is a scaleable format.

I'm not sure what your question actually is. Though by the wording I guess you are NOT a graphic designer. Or at least not an experienced one.

Business cards are a standard size, as are documents, envelopes etc, and if the requirement is for a print document, then a high quality PDF is fine for most print houses.

Well you didn't answer my question exactly and if your elitism prevents you from answering my question in a non-upitty way, please don't bother.

Nothing "elitist" about it simply stating my observations, and on not answering the question "correctly", I believe I covered that with

Also:

If the delivered format is a vector format it does not matter what the medium that the design will be used on is.

And surely it is up to the contest holder to determine what the delivered format and delivery method is going to be.
