Does anyone know the best sites I can go to to get new tips on Adobe Photoshop or on logo or graphic design based news?

I find this site fun to read. Especially their magazine I get from time to time.

This might not be entirely what you're looking for, but any questions about logo design can easily be answered here.

Usually I'm busy creating logos on my own, not looking at others.

If you need some logo inspiration so i suggest you to choose logopond.

What I tend to do is sit down with a piece of paper and doodle until i find a cool concept.

Yeah I need to dedicate more time to actually doing this. Sometimes I get caught up in reading too much stuff

There are a lot of tutorials in YouTube. But the Photoshop forums can also be a good source of new tips regarding Photoshop.

I find YouTube tutorials to be less engaging than plain text/image tutorials. Pixel2Life usually has the best collection of logo tutorials on the net. Give them a try and see what you can create!

If you really want to go with logo design I suggest learn Illustrator. Logos are supposed to be vector.
