How can you save a pattern from a pattern overlay that is not in your presets?

I saved a file a while back that has a pattern overlay using a pattern that I no longer have in my presets. I can still see the pattern over the shape but I need to save the pattern again.

I'd rather not try to make a new selection to save the pattern again because I like the way the edges blend as it is. Is there a way to save the pattern again from the blending options window? Or find a temporary file that it is using somewhere?

I'm sorry I forgot I'm not in a Photoshop forum but I'm referring to Photoshop CS5.

To do this, simply draw out the pattern you want then press CTRL-A. From here, you go under Edit and Define Pattern. This will let you add this new pattern to your presets.

I was hoping there was away to save it to my presets without making a new selection because the edges are merging well.

Ah well, I guess I'll just have to try my best to make a seamless pattern with a new selection.
