I have tried a few flash building programs including Adobe Flash and SWF Quicker. I tried a few of quick and easy flash makers, but they were garbage. Luckily I didn't spend any money on them.

I liked using Adobe Flash and SWF Quicker but I was wondering if there was something better out there I was missing before I invest in these programs.

I was also wondering if anyone knew of a good tutorial site, since I am trying to broaden my horizons by moving into more hardcore flash.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

Well if you "didn't like" the ORIGINAL tool for designing flash movies you are a bit out of luck.
It takes quite some time to learn how to use the flash development tools effectively

I agree, although I did like Adobe Flash I was wondering if there were anymore cost effective tools out there while still containing the same power.

I love Adobe but it is expensive if you want a REAL copy.

It isn't likely that there are any cheap tools that are even in the same realm of quality that Adobe is able to produce. Flash was created by Adobe as well, which means that nobody knows flash as well as they do either.

If you aren't able to afford flash, then I wouldn't bother looking for any other alternatives.

Thanks, yeah I just decided to use Adobe Flash Professional. Since it's the standard, there is no point in even trying other tools.

If you have no problem with the actionscript programming then yes use the original Adobe software is the best way to go.

I use Adobe for clients who want advance sites. I use A4Desk (which is a template driven flash builder) to build flash sites for clients who have a small budget and want quick sites done, which is more useful for people who can't afford Adobe or have no action scripting skill.
