When using my older computer with XP op sys I could take a screen shot of windows media player Screen to create step by step pictorials for students.
Now on the new computer with Vista op sys on it I do the same exact thing:
print screen
paste into Microsoft Paint palette
cut section I want to use ( crop section)
click new file and paste cropped piece onto new palette
The following occurs ONLY when using the Windows Media player to get pics from.
It always re-pastes the entire screenshot not the cut piece. The pasted section rotates as if I had it on a slide projector. It acts as if I am working in the Windows Media player screen and not the paint palette. It will not allow me to use the cut piece.
Anyone have any ideas as to how to correct this? I am at wits end.
Would be most grateful for assistance.
