Hi I'm new and been searching for a few hours trying to find out the following;

I'm trying to create some abstract backgrounds using photoshop brushes, but not sure if I can sell them. I have created a few using lots of different brushes that I have gotten from all over the net, thats free.

All I would be selling or giving away would be the background image, no brushes, just a psd file with the design on it.

I cant find the answer anywhere thats says its ok

any thoughts

Well I think it's all up to you if you want to put up a site that sells those kind of stuffs. But the first thing you need to have first is a sample works that can attract your visitors to sell. Also, try to sell some full sites as well along with your backgrounds.
