How to convert Flash (swf) to animated GIF

OK, I know this question has probably been asked a millions times, but I'm desperately looking for a way to do this. I have Googled, and probably have installed most of the programs that say they can do this.. with no luck

Can anybody help? I have a Flash Banner that I need to make into an animated GIF.

The help would greatly be appreciated. What's the best way to do this?

Flash CS3 or any other version will do it...Just export as Animated Gif

Essentially, that is all you need to do (assuming you own the fla file). If not ask the creator of the swf to do it. If you still want to do it, google "SWF to GIF converter".

Also, why would you want to convert a swf to a gif? apart from the usability side of things, the size would rocket.

The reason is because I'm making animated banners that people will be able to use with the codes given... don't think you can do that with a swf file.

Do you have the .fla? I suppose not so use a third party converter to do this.

You need a flash to gif conver. Its not so far jst a click requried. Follow the link there you can find a relevant software for you.

also u can use 2 programms: first to convert Flash to video and then to convert video to Gif. may be its a bit longer but its really easy and works good. usually i use 4 that Flash To Video Encoder 4.5 (http://geovid.com/Flash_To_Video_Encoder/) and VidGIF 2.3 (http://geovid.com/VidGIF/) (both have free trial versions without time limit)
