Just curious, but how does one with totally free services pay for their hosting & other living expenses? I mean, does the advertisements & or sponsors offset the cost of hosting & daily living, Or is this just temporary to build a portfolio?

It looks like they pick a winner every day to receive free logo design. You have to check their site daily to see if you won so that would be my guess as to how they monetize.

So, basically, they spend countless hours designing & doing revisions purely for the adsense on the site to compensate for domain / hosting / & other living expenses?

Our site has a single winner selected daily. This is only one extra logo job on top of our designers' paid workload. The website clearly states the details of how free logo design works. You can visit the how it works page via the main menu for a complete explanation.

Why are we offering this? It is a way to give something back and it's exciting. The person selected each day has only 24 hours to claim their prize via our website. Every free or paid logo project builds a designer's portfolio and experience. The more you do it, the better you get. Everybody can always improve their skills, even professionals. This is absolutely incorrect. We do not learn about the full project details until after the winner has collected their prize and filled out our customization form. When they sign up, people usually write a sentence or two. There is no way of knowing from a few words whether a job will be easy or hard. Winners are randomly selected.

This is completely incorrect. We have zero intentions to flip this or any other website. The reason for posting on a webmaster or business forum...webmasters and business owners are most likely going to need a logo. Why not give them the chance to get it for free? How else will they find out about it? Maybe via a search engine but it takes a while to get indexed. Forum members are actually getting the best part because their entries are currently competing against minimal search engine traffic.
