hover over box and display image in another container

Hi,

I want to combine 4 images together and animate them with flash. I wish to have 4 second wait between the next image and a 1 second smooth transition from one image to the next one.
Can anyone please let me know what would be the easiest way to accomplish this with flash and how? Any suggestions are welcome including tutorials.
I am new to flash and don't have much experience with flash.
Also, is it possible to choose the output quality with flash so the animation doesn't weigh the page down?

What you're describing is fairly simple time line and tweening.

As for the output quality - not really, but a clean library and converting jpgs, bmps, etc. to objects will greatly decrease the size of a flash file.
