do you mean web site editors that have pre made web sites

Umm yea the Question didnt really make it easy to help you,,

Do u mean to make the images and stuff or something to Build a site ,

well Photoshop is great for images for a template as is PaintShop Pro,
to make a site
Dreamweaver is great, and Frontpage( i woundnt touch Frontpage i hate it)

also there are HTML editors out there that you could use, like NotePad

I use Frontpage, but then I am a backward old geezer who doesn't know any better. If I was young and hip like my kids I'd knpw html

why dont you learn html chuck? its really useful in todays webdesign world.

there are always lots of helpful tutorials out there. I will try to post up one on my webmaster site when i finish it

as for coolnyc's question...

i dont know what you mean by whats the best template program but ill atempt to awnser that question. with Adobe Photoshop you can create some mad graphics that would make a great template. Dreamweaver also provides a template creator.
Cool page (can be found here... www.downloads.com) provides a really, really good template creator. you could really use anything actually, but if you want something easy with a good GUI that is just click>>>copy>>>paste and you got yourself a site. Frontpage, Dreamweaver, Coolpage is for you.

if not, just create images on MsPaint and using Notepad you can assemble the images and make a template out of that. your choice.

I use Photoshop and HTML-Kit which is working out well from me. just all HTML/JS coding and a few graphics

I'm too old to teach new tricks, and what extra time I have is out in the garage. maybe I'll get a book while I'm laid up this winter and dig in.

hmm...imma try to speed things up building my webmaster site, when im done (2 weeks) ill send you the tutorial link

the tutorial imma put is the one which i learned HTML with.

after learning HTML i would consider other languages too like JavaScript, PHP, ASP, .htaccess, PERL, etc...

the more the merrier...
