hi everybody! i have approximately 2000 jpg's that i need to watermark (idealy with a transparent color logo).

there needs to be a strong emphasis on keeping the quality of the original image in tact! i've tried a couple of freebie 'batch thumbnail' programs that claim to watermark but resample the original image and makes it look yucky.

any help would be appreciated!

Check out ImageMagik. I just read an article in PC Magazine which explores this very problem and talks about how ImageMagik can solve the problem form the command line and with batch processing.
