That's nice to offer Pm messages or email, but I am also trying to learn PSP version 8, shouldn't this be the place to learn, share and ask questions so everyone can benefit?

yes, thats true too, but learning the WHOLE program is pretty hard, In my opinion, we dont want a million threads asking "How do I make a new blank image?" I was gonna help with the getting started, and from there, they can make threads....

You are absolutely right Pipers Dragon! But do come back with threads when you are into the other things, would be very much appreciated, like I said I am learning the software myself, it's a bit different then version 7. Nobody could help me with Masks a few weeks back, after much hair pulling and a lot of time spent, I finally figured out how to do masks myself. We need someone knowledgeable about PSP 8 and I feel we all could have some fun too!

Nicole, you have a very nice software program, in no time at all you will be making your banners....

No Kyrnt you didn't help me at all and there were days involved which anyone with knowledge in version 8 would have taken then five seconds to answer the question, because it was that simple. You asked me to post my work which I took the time to do and even supplied the tutorials to show you what was being done. The last instruction you gave me, I had been there already for weeks, I wanted to go beyond that, there's where I was asking for help.

Go back over and read the thread, that was rediculous, what I did thank you for was your time because I had already figured the masks out myself. That's why I said we need someone who is knowledgeable in PSP version 8.

Ouch.

This is the thread that I thought we were speaking about, the title of which is Masks in Version 8. In retrospect, I'm sorry I was not of more help, but your comments led me to the opposite impression. You seem somewhat miffed and I'll leave the topic alone for now.

Basically I made the mask, just like your instructions, loaded the mask to save to alpha channel but couldn't figure out where to go next, especially with the extra layers, that's what I didn't understand.

Thank you so much for taking your time, very much appreciated...
