How to make a recantle go from white color to a picture...??????

select the image. go to Commands > creative > fade image and choose the one you need

Or, you can add another rectangle on top with gradient from white-to-transparent.

this is essentially what this does
select the image. go to Commands > creative > fade image

(it makes a rectangle with a linear fill - white to black - and then groups it as a mask with the image below, but all in a couple of clicks)
