I scanned the following image from a magazine and would like to use it for a website header. Is there a program that I can use to clean it up? I sanned it numerous times to try and get it straight, but it is still crooked. I cropped some extra space around it just to be safe. I guess my biggest question is how to get rid of the blue coloring on the left hand side, and how to make it square? Thanks for your input!

Hopefully this helps you. I'm pretty bored at work right now, so let me know if it needs anything.

Are you looking to get SUED ? You can't copy someone else's logo and use it as your own !

I'm pretty sure they own the ad.. why else would they be using the entire piece and not just crop what they wanted?

Thank you VERY much Mugzu!! I hope to be able to do this type of stuff myself someday, but the way I was trying to do it using Paint looked horrible. Thanks again!

You said you 'scanned it from a magazine' which implies the graphics do not belong to you, hence my comment. If the ad belongs to you, ask for the graphics from the person who created it.

Paint is useless.. get a copy of a REAL graphics program. PaintShopPro is under $100, GIMP is free.
