*Save as GIF file (CompuServe GIF)
*72 DPI
*2 inches wide

do you mean like this? or do you want to keep the images the same size but just increase the canvas size?

why 2 inches? are you going to print them??

Hi davemies,

I would like to keep it animated so it goes back and forth. The only reason that I need to have it changed is because the site that I am trying to put the banner on sent me an email stating that it had to meet the following before they would put it up.

*Save as GIF file (CompuServe GIF)
*72 DPI
*2 inches wide
*1.25 inches long
*Indexed Color
*8 bits/channel

Here is a current banner from the site

ah i see. only 2 inches wide doesn't mean anything - 2 inches on my monitor might not be the same as yours or theirs depending on their screen resolution.

if you ask them the size in PIXELS then i'll do it for you

I think that at 72dpi, a 2inch by 1.5 inch image should be 144px x 108px.

oops! I edited my post right after I submitted it, but I think it was too late.

But I edited it wrong. 1.25 inches should be 90px! I was right the first time. 1.5 inches is 108px.

They are Killing me with this! This is the latest email that I received:

Hello, the banner size we require is 120x60 pixels in size. If you
could resize and send, it would be appreciated!

And the other site that I would like to advertise on again sent me the following:

*Save as GIF file (CompuServe GIF)
*72 DPI
*2 inches wide
*1.25 inches long
*Indexed Color
*8 bits/channel

ANY Help will be greatly appreciated!!!!

do you want a static banner or an animated one for the first one?
i've attached an animated one at 120x60

the other ad i did for you meets the criteria for the second advertiser
