Ok... I have an avi video which is 255mb. I need to somehow import this video into flash mx so that I can incorperate it into my intro. I am 99.99% positive that the file is wayyyyy too large because when I tell flash to import the file, it takes forever (I let it go for 7 hours and it still never imported). What should I do? I know it needs to be compressed, but what should I use, every program I have tried, including sorenson squeeze, freezes (or at least never imports it after hours of waiting).

the best advice i can give it....get another file...hehehe...sorry...
but i have got a couple solutions....

first of all..get some program like VCD Cutter or something and cut your movie in bits...the size u have written is way to big so i'm expecting at least 10 parts....

or if u want to go more advanced...simply get a software and try to reduce the quality and resolution of the image...it will help..
hope so this answers ur question....
