$100 logo for transmission shop website redesign.

The site being redesigned is this: http://www.suburbantransmissions.com/

We want to go with totally different colors, but the exact combination is up to you. Soothing blue colors will probably work very well. This logo is going on the website first, but I need it to be of sufficient quality so that it could be printed, or placed on T-shirts, etc.

This logo does not need to be overly complex, but spend some time making it nice. Something in 4 - 5 colors will be fine, though feel free to experiment. I think something with gears in it will work well, as long as it is better than the current example.

I set this contest to close in a week, but if I like the entries it will close sooner.

Hey, heres my shot at it, took me a while to get the colours and the gear right, also dont go saying that i stole the idea from the logo above because i had it in my mind the minute i saw this request/contest.

Feedback aprisiated, also NOTE that i got colours on the last one to have a look what you think about it with colours. also feel free to suggest your idea's :P. Thanks!

Let's switch gears a little bit. I like many of the ideas, but I'm going to need to see what will fit into what has already been designed. Part of the design is done, though slight details may be changed, such as tweaking colors, etc. See if you can make your designs fit into this space:

In addition to normal styles, I'm also open to logos that spill out over the top or left. I do need to fill up most of that white space though.

Nice, Robert. I would probably make the "transmissions" just a little bit plainer, however, and make the shadows in the "Suburban" just a tiny bit smaller.
