I am currently trying to grow my forums, yet my logo and marketing designs are not the best. I have a few contests here and one person can do them all or they can be split up.
Based on my current logo, I am working on something along the same lines, POSSIBLY. Meaning that if you have a better idea, please do show.
I am not the best person for graphic details, yet I am looking for a bowling logo to represent my bowling site, BowlingBoards.com
My current logo has a bowling ball and pieces of bowling lanes under the text. They have small arrows to represent the arrows of a lane.
So basically I was taking the name Bowling Boards and adding bowling themes to it.
So for the Logo:
I a looking for a transparent logo to represent BowlingBoards.com.
These are ideas that I have had, but may not look well:
I have thoughts of the text looking like bowling lanes.
A more 3d looking bowling ball before the name. Something more real looking.
Maybe a bowling pin to represent the I in Bowling and maybe a ball for the o's
Maybe a great looking 3d bowling ball with BowlingBoards going through it?
Really the ideas are endless, yet the final result needs to be original and eye catching. Something that a bowler would see and want to be a part of. A logo represents all of the hard work I put into my site.
The size can vary, yet Let's start with a 300 x 200 pixel design

Patches:
I am looking to brand my site. So with bowling you have patches. I am looking for a simple patch design that will maybe work with the logo design to promote BowlingBoards.com
It must be at least 4 inches wide and 2 or 3 inches tall. Please keep the colors easy to manipulate by a patch making company. The design needs to be eye ready, meaning one look you remember what it says. So a simple BowlingBoards.com with some sort of bowling theme. Some of my members are working on this too, but I need a few to toss around.

I am looking for some flash banners if possible, yet non flash are possible too.

These are some of what we do, take it or leave it as you wish. The key is to make people say hmm and click on the banner.
The main goal is to promote our FREE Bowling Ball giveaways.

This will end at around 8 pm mountain time on the 20th of August 2009. If at any time a great design comes in, the corresponding contest is closed. If at the end no one responds or no designs are usable, then we will end the contest with no winner declared.
