Contest time is 2 weeks, but if I see what I like I will end it right there. If by some odd reason the 2 weeks are up and I have not chosen a design I will pick the design closest to my liking.

You said 4 colors, so I give you CMKY.
I don't know why you chose to use pixels for a size, but this is vector so it can be whatever you want and however many DPI you want. I used the standard A5 size of 5.8" x 8.3"
This is already cropped and the background extends about a quarter inch in the actual file.
And one with 3 pantone colors...with various %'s of the dark blue.

Actually it was 3 colors, and you have a gradient which is actually a ton of colors.

FYI: To reproduce full-color photographic images, typical printing presses use 4 colors of ink (CMYK). The four inks are placed on the paper in layers of dots that combine to create the illusion of many more colors.

At 300dpi, the dimensions you are specifying are over 8.5 x 11 inches, right at 8.5 x 11 inches worth of printed content. By the way, a bleed is when the printed content extends to the edge of the page. So, you're probably talking about a border? So, on a standard A5 flyer size, (which as already was mentioned, is 5.8" x 8.3") how much of a border do you require? In inches or mm, per side, please.

Guys, I don't think the printing technique is in question here, I think he just wants to keep the layout simple. Correct me here, CH, if I'm wrong.

Hi There!
Sorry people have been busy. A slight change has been made, after speaking to our printer COLOUR IS NOT AN ISSUE this means you can use and much as colours as you want, but try to keep everything colour coded.
Just for notes, The total size of the document should be in 2588 x 3331 pixels(the background has to be filled) no border needed
The content and the design work needs to be within 2551 x 3295 pixels
An invisable border which would be approx 37 pixels around the document where the content must say within.
Another change, the price has gone up to $50!
Nice design outlaw, I like the second one better then the first but not liking the mobile phone looks abit like my tv remote lol. The text is very ideal.
Hi Yas-o the text I do not like, But I do like the box as it stands out, the mobile phone looks fine. The text on the top right I do not like the shades of colours used for that is not my liking plus it over laps the main title. Also the text on the body of the content is very basic.
Thanks guys for participating!
Hi Tim, the above designs are something I'm looking for! with a little tweeking and getting right, I think this contest will be finishing soon

Ok, let me explain....
The DOCUMENT is 2588x3331. I put a black border just for reference incase the forum background was white. Is this where they are going to CROP or is this where you want the back ground to extend? I am sure you are trying, but its not coming across all that clear. I can extend the color out there very easily if need be.
The the background fade I have is at 2551x3295, at which point I put white. Why? because I am hoping we have a visual reference to get on the same page here.
The 37 pixel thing.....I don't know....but your content is further than 37 pixels from the edge not matter how you slice it up.
Its not 100% the same as the previous version because those pixels are of a different proportion when enlarged. This document is a bit wider. But overall I think it sized up well as there wasn't too much extra width to make up.
And I recreated the cellphone you linked to.
This one is the SAME as right above, except the background goes all the way to the largest pixel size you mentioned.
