I need a "Moron" Face to go with that web site.

Nothing too high tech looking but nothing boring either.

But the artwork needs to be sizable so it can be transfered to T-shirts, Stickers, Certificates, et......

This is a Strictly "work for hire" with one caveaut.

I am willing to create a page on my site specifically bragging the work of the winning artist, with a link to your already established site if you have one. If you don't have a site we can work something out.

You will be releasing all rights to the picture with no additional compensation except for the web site notation and page.

There is potential for future work for the winner.

I have given this contest a month to run, as I am not in a critical hurry.
Please watermark all entries. I expect some really terrific entries and I would hate to see any of you get them stolen.

Final file formats must work with Paint Shop Pro X2

Sortof, but not so mean looking. More dopey looking.

Think Dopey on the 7 Dwarfs or Mortimer Snerd, or Baby Huey.

Dopey, Friendy, but not too friendly.

Because it will offend some of the more politically correct crowd.

Inclusion of the company name on this charcter is not crucial but it is ok to intigrate it IF it makes sense.

But! To others reading this, I am not restricting this to Cartoonish looking.
Artistic looking will be considered too.
The one that appeals to me the most will win hands down.

Still no submissions? Let's see if this gets the ball rolling. Here's a dopey look along the lines of what you were saying. He's definitely confused by what he's looking at. I envisioned having a computer monitor in front of him with a glow effect on his face, but let's see first if the face is what you're looking for.

Mouth is wrong, doesn't look stupid enough. Ears, Maybe a little bigger.
Also, I want him facing right not left. Simple mirror of the image will fix that...

Right track but just a little too monkey looking though the Kirk Douglas effect is good.

I am not so sure the hand should not be scratching his forehead instead of looking like he's ready to flick out a bugger.

Technology Morons are more confused looking than anything.

Also, their eyes glass over when anyone says anything computer around them.....
and they can't spell MP3 let alone know how to use one.

Yet, they are easily hurt if you tease them about being computer illiterate.

And don't dare ask them what size their hard drive is......

Wow......talk about taking this one out into left field......

A Moron Penguin -

1. He has no arms. Thus what technology would he represent.....or be using.
An MP3 for his "Happy Feet". I could see some potential trademark issues here.
2. The beak is looped for what reason?
3. The eyes are the right effect though I'm not so sure they
don't make it look like he's a crash victim instead of just a moron.
4. Between the two LAYOUTS, I like the second one better.
But I would NEVER do a black background.

Interesting attempt but I think using an animal with arms might work better???

Yeah, but I still like the drawing; it has a lot of potential. For some reason it made me think of an Okie a la The Grapes of Wrath.

I'm waiting to see what Kates is cooking up, too. Lots of talent in that one, watch for her.
