I am starting a magento website and have applied the theme I am going to use. You can see on my homepage www.scotty-golf.com there are 4 images (banners) that need to be updated to go with my site.

There is the large 1 in the center, 2 on the side and 1 on the bottom.

Here is my problem.... Im not exactly sure what I want in those images yet. Whether they be something like a "special" or "free shipping" or whatever.. So Im kinda looking for ideas, but would like them somewhat generic where I will be able to change the wording/images on my own later down the road.

As far as color goes, I like this color scheme:

My site is going to be a golf trophy/awards store. So I would like some banners that apply to that. I have plenty of images to use of actual products Im going to sell, but not exactly sure how to get them to you?

Also, Im new to this paying for graphics thing, so what if I like one banner from one person, but another from another? Can I pay individually? Or what if I dont like any? Am I obligated to still buy one?

im trying to think of a way to get you guys access to my product images, what if i threw a few in a zip file. Anyone know of a way I can attach that for yall to get?

upload the zip file to your site and post a link to the file on here
e.g.

Since this is a contest you only pay for the one(s) you are going to use.

I'm sure it would make sense to split up the prize if seperate people came up with the ones you choose.

Also, I'm sure if you could provide us with pictures of the actual products, we could come up with something that would fit your site better.

okay, maybe im an idiot. but I uploaded the zip file to my main directly. but www.scotty-golf.com/golf.zip isnt working. any ideas

An alternative would be a site like http://www.wikiupload.com/

You can just put it on there and then link us to the link it gives you.

Or, if you just want to keep it local on your site, you can make a folder within there so you get something like http://www.scotty-golf.com/example/ and then put it in there and we'll be able to see it by just going to the folder itself.

cool, one more thing i forgot to mention, but is pretty important to me. I need the new graphics to be the same size as the old ones. Because I am not great at code, my plan is to just replace the images and never miss a beat.

also, I had a few ideas for what I want the banners to be about...

1. one of the smaller side banners... say something about free engraving on all awards
2. other smaller side banner - something about items on sale or specials
3. large banner in middle. not really anything particular, just a nice graphic that stands out and looks good on homepage. kinda a welcome thing..
4. then maybe the thin long banner at the bottom be something about custom engraving on your special items (like tees, ball markers, divot tools, etc)

Thanks for your submission. Its not bad, but Id like to see a few changes if you dont mind.

big section - I dont really want to put clubs in there because I dont sell clubs. Maybe a nice HQ picture of a golfer holding/kissing a trophy? or maybe a picture of a golf course in the background? Again, clubs look good, but I dont sell clubs.

also, Dont want to sound rude, but Im not very crazy about those horizontal lines.

JG... i think I like the grass background... but not crazy about those 2 graphics just sitting there... they look out of place and too small...

wow, i dont want to sound like a jerk or anything, but just not crazy about the other small banners either... i dont know what it is, but they arent popping out to me... maybe not so much green? can we incorporate more of the darker colors found in my logo too?

obviously do not want to "copy" someones website, but here one that I really like the look of. I just want it to look clean and professional... but i like those bricks at the top edge, then the big club.. maybe something similar with a big class cup trophy or something on the edge zoomed in real big with some kind of thing like the brick pattern....

ya, sorry I meant diagonal... I dont care for those. I do like the idea of a course in the background (or maybe a guy holding a trophy if you can find the right image)... but still, I see too much green everywhere.

also, im not crazy about the fonts. They look too bubbly and cartoonish.

ok guys, im not as good at this as you, but here is something I came up with myself real quick. Im not really certain how to add the drop shadow behind the word "grand opening" but I think that would help....

Again, dont copy my idea exactly, but this is kinda look im going for....
