Hey guys I'm creating a webshop selling green/energy effective computers, hardware and software. The name of the website is "grøncomputer" which is danish and means "greencomputer". The website domain is grøncomputer.dk.

I need a small logo like the one we all know from mediatemple - two letters "GC". I would love to have this logo "GC" connected to a shopping cart like shopzilla does it, but maybe have the shopping cart to the right rather then left of the logo. The logo has to fit within a 200px42px box.

The logo has to be elegant and shining like this apple logo and the logo has to make people think "green", but without being annoying to look at. You can design the logo using green roots, leafs or whatever makes it a green energy logo, but personally I would rather have the "G" made green (with roots, water or leafs...) and the "C" made metallic (It is a computer store and not greenpeace). The green color has to fit with the green border at the bottom, gradients ftw...

Please keep the mediatemple logo in your mind while designing my logo.

Here is the background of the area where the logo will be (real size 1/1). The website is http://grøncomputer.dk (for some reason you will have to refresh once you reach the Address Not Found page), but it's not tested in anything but firefox and there is no content (yet) :P

I bought Adams logo, but as you know the thread was closed so I couldn't report back to you. I've already said sorry for the inappropriate ending and I will do it again if you please.

I've tried to delete my other account, but apparently this can't be done. The main reason for creating a new account is because I found it was bad to have my name in my username which last time I posted here resulted in email threats, one of these from Katesrobyn I believe.

Anyway, lets get to business shall we? Or do you want to keep throwing mud?

I just pointed out the ruling of having 2 accounts.

I can understand that you have tried to delete your other account, but did you contact Admin for their assistance, they are there to help you after all.?

As for getting to business, I would love to enter your contest, however I am concerned that you have not really concluded previous contests. You have to understand designers put their all into producing their designs and for a contest to be just abandoned without an explanation just makes us all a little wary the next time a graphic is requested. Especially if that person has changed their name.

I also understand that you are not going to pay for a logo design that you are not happy with - Be straight with us all, tell us that you are not keen on the entries, extend the contest if necessary, but please don't just abandon it. It is not a lot to ask is it?

I understand your concern and deeply apologize that I didn't inform everyone who had contributed to the project. About being trustworthy I guess your right, but please keep in mind that until now I've only wasted time using this forum and most certainly never cheated anyone.

I have sent 5+ emails to admin here about changing my user name. Not one response. I can see why it was easier to create new account. Why bust his balls about two accounts unless hes actually doing something shady with them. As for the past contest it seems he explained it, so why not look into it a bit see if the person was paid?

If you post your request in the right place so ALL the admin / mod team can see it, it is more likely to get actioned.

can you confirm what date and time the comp will close and maybe consider extending it a little if you want more entries? (otherwise we hardly have time to do anything...)

(also can you state the time in GMT so everyone knows what time it is for them

It's a quite small task so I guess two days should have been enough, but if you please we can add one more day and end the contest in 72 hours which is the 17th of December at 13:00 GMT.

Hey mate and thanks for making an effort in helping me.

1) The logo is a little bit too small, just make it a few pixels higher and put it closer to the green border.

2) The text (GC) is a bit boring, maybe you should try with another font. The shopping cart however is very nice and fit perfectly and the flare/light effect is nice too.

1) The text size and font type is decent, but if you could add some sort of border to the text and maybe make the gradient vertical rather then horizontal.

2) The shopping cart and the text should be the same size

Lucy: The letters are still somewhat boring, but the first shopping cart is fine. Maybe you should reduce the amout of plants a bit and customize the letters a bit.
