Hello all,
I need a logo created for a pet bed brand that I am developing. The creativity for this contest is open to anything, however there should be a reference to pets. Here’s an example of a similar product that I will develop http://www.celebcorp.com/9000GSx.html. As you can see on the picture, there is a tag placed directly on the side panel and this is what I need created. Eventually the logo will be used on a website which can turn into additional designing work at a later date for the winner.
Brand name: Pet Padz
Colour scheme: open to your creativity however it must be appealing to people who buy pet beds, which means age 25-45 and unisex.
Size: 5” wide x 1.5” high.
Due date: November 28, 2008
Please provide a high res AI vector file and PSD format. Prize will be delivered in any format you require.

I'm a little weary about having an animal on a pad in the design of the brand name. Your efforts are appriciated but the layout is not what I am looking for. The sketch of the two animals is difficult to see at first glance and the overall design is not clean. I am searching for a logo that is professionally designed.

PROFITBLASTER
Your logos are simple, clean and to the point but only refer to one animal. I need this logo to be for any pet. Right now I'm veering towards the second option, but again it only portraits to cats. Maybe try some creative symbolism.

I really like the direction you are going with but its still not quite there yet. I am not big fan of the colour choice, they are a little on the dull side. I'm seaching for something that is appealing to the eye, doesn't mean bright colours just not grey as a main colour. But good job on the work!

ILUVDESIGN: is your images your's?... or cliparts?... I think I have seen them somewhere.... It's not fair to compete with easy copy/paste cliparts.... logo should be vector... and your own art.
