Favicon / Destop Icon for my website

I'm looking to get a new favicon designed for my website
http://www.icdmeister.com/demo/

The colors and concept should be related to the above website which is a site used by doctors to find the correct ICD-9 diagnosis codes when submitting billing claims to insurance companies.

It should be in sizes, color depths, and file formats appropriate for all uses of favicon (ie. 16x16, 32x32, 48x48). See this link for details:

Thanks for your submission. I'm looking for something that's a bit more descriptive and unique. Particularly for the larger images, I'm looking for something with more detail, design. Please do submit another entry if you're so inclined.

Steve and others,

I've been really happy with the graphic design contests here for projects like this one where I have some vague idea of what I want but haven't yet gotten an image in my mind. The creativity of different contestants showcases several options and helps me know what I'm looking for.

Designers - Can I ask - why no interest in this project? Bid too low? Requirements too complicated? What should I do to get some more interest in this contest?

OK. Here's a start. I'm eliminating the need for a 256px icon - just the 48, 32, and 16 needed at this time.

Thanks for all the submissions. I have some general feedback then specific comments for each entry so far. Several of the entries use generic medical images (red cross, ambulance, caduceus). This makes sense for a non-medical user who has several bookmarks and desktop icons, one of which is medically related. For a doctor though (this site's target audience) most of their workplace bookmarks and desktop icons are medically related. The icon needs to differentiate ICDMeister Online from all the other medical sites/icons on their browser/desktop.

RNHalawi.com: I really like how you picked up on and used the colors from the site. While I like your design, it feels a bit non-descript. Particularly for the larger images, I'd like something that's more detailed and specific.

Aurelianpopa: The ambulance icon doesn't do it for me (see above).

Gx3 Grafix: I like that you included the name in the logo. I don't like the caduceus symbol (it's been co-opted by the American Medical Association).

Jigu: I like that you included ICD. Don't like the red cross.

All - I'd like at least the larger images (32x32 and 48x48) to include the text "ICD-9" or "ICDMeister".

Looking forward to seeing more.

pnoiboii89 - Clean looking image. I don't like the book image. I'm trying to convince docs to throw away their books and subscribe to my online reference instead. The book sends a conflicting message.

Gx3 Grafix - Very nice. Definitely my favorite so far. I like the red. Could you include the blue shades from the site, perhaps in place of the yellow?

ANother thought . . .
For the 32x32 and 48x48 desktop icons, they're always shown with their title underneath anyway. Having "ICD" or "ICD-9" in the logo is great and I'd like to keep it. Not sure I need the whole ICDMeister name in the logo (since it'll be in the icon's label and is too small to see in the 16x16 version anyway). Perhaps keeping ICD text in the image but building in some more graphically interesting content for the desktop icons.

The 16x16 icon does not need to be identical to the desktop icons as long as they all have a consistent theme and match the site.

I'm really liking the work so far.
Let's make it a bit more interesting. I'm jacking up the contest award to $50.

Thank you. I'm glad you like it so far.

I will make the revisions and come up with some new graphics tomorrow and post back soon.
