as many of you may already know, we are working on an updated layout for www.short-story.net. If you take a look at http://beta.short-story.net you'll most probably see our problem right away! The banner/logo just doesn't fit in with the layout at all does it?
Anyway, I thought I'd open it up to all of you as a kind of contest
As a prize, you'll get a link in our 'Featured Links' section on the main page, recognition on the 'About' page for you work, plus links from the templates website (I'll also recommend you on other messageboards I use etc). Sorry I can't offer more, but I'm flat broke as ever!
There are a few restrictions to the design;
It needs to be maximum of 728 pixels wide and 100 pixels high
Transparent background, so any changes to the site background won't affect the banner/logo
Preferably non-rectangular. Would like something that *looks* like it's part of the background if you get what i mean (sort of like the WT logo's effect)
Please include the website name, and possibly the tagline which is on the site already (next to current banner)
*Your site name and slogan
*.swf file (just use activeX controls to upload it)
*Transparent Backround
*Linked to whatever part
*Any size
*Various visual effects
