can any one give me an example for "Google Click to Call Adwords" i mean listing link, so that i will get an idea.I am also in confusion .. have they launched?

In one off the article's i read they launched in Brazil.

What don't you understand?

If the advertiser is using this feature there is a phone symbol in the advert (or a call link).
Click the icon or link.
You put your phone number in, the system calls you and connects you to the advertising business.
You then talk to them.

When Google first debuted this it sounded cool so I tried it. I can't see any value for the end user.

Click to call:
click the link
phone rings
get up to answer phone
talk

traditional way:
get up to get phone
dial number
talk

I'm not really sure what part of the process Google is making easier for me. Dialing a phone number has never been difficult. The most taxing part of either way is getting up to get the phone. You have to do that in both cases though.

If I use click to call then the call gets routed through Google. Is there any reason we need to route calls through Google.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I couldn't find any advantage at all in using click to call.

this looks rely cool as i made some reseach right now. apprantly the SERP results, for companies interested, googlw will turn to be a "seach and contact" search engine. For every result you will have a 'call this company now' or something number, that allows the searcher to call the ppl, on the expences of google i guess... they are going to loss and make so much $ out of this. please correct me if i said something incorrect. thanks!

It is like that. I forget about the part where Google pays the bill. That part is an advantage for the customer. When you search Google Local, which is basically Google Maps there will be a click to call button. You click and type in your own phone number and Google calls the company and you and pays for the call.

The payout to Google is the hope you'll be using their search engine more. Since it's only with Google local most of the calls should be local and not cost too much.
