I am an Independent Shaklee distributor. So my target market will be vitamins and mlm. I had my PPC set at 1.00 per keyword. And I received very little response. So today I raised my PPC to 2.00. Do you think that is enough?

You should work out with the program.
And you will learn it with time.

Because response for same cpc changes time to time and hour to hour.
You may also need to consider enablling content network ads.

Isn't click fraud higher with content network ads?

Today I raised my ppc to $5.00.

Hi,

You should only raise your pay per click if your target market is competitive.
Have you tried using exact match with generic keywords and include a list of negative keys to go with that one ad only?
If you are a novice this can save you a packet and give you a better return on investment without breaking the bank.
Also turn off content ads and google search network as this will eat your money quicker.
Just tick the box that says

Show my ads on:

google search

Leave the rest blank.

Bek.

It's an online pharmacy.. It doesn't get much more competitive than that.

Hi Dougadam,

Your PPC should depend on what profit you are making per sale. On average you are only going to make 1 sale for every 100 clicks so at 2.00 per click it can cost you up to 200.00. If you are not selling the item for more than 200.00 (300.00 would be about minimum) then you are going to be losing money. Maybe you need to look at less competitive keywords that are not as expensive and see how you do with them.

The key is more keywords! go to thesaurus.com and sit down and find all the single words that relate to your business. Then use a keyword expander to tack on words to each end of the original list over and over. You can put up to 2,000 keywords per ad group and up to 50,000 total per account! Use them up or you're wasting money!

Is MANY KWs really a good idea? Sorry, I'm asking from complete ignorance (I'm new on this), just based on Google's advise that you shoud use a small list of keywords. I assumed using too many keywords would go against you.

I'd love a further explanation. Thanks folks.
