Hi
If you have updated your site to get higher in the ranking, and you are also in an adwords campaign, does Google place you on hold for ranking until you stop adwords in case your new PR conflicts with the adword position.

One final question.
How do you get your advert to be placed across the top of the screen rather than down the right side.

Dave

Hi Dave,

Adwords and the Organic/Natural results are two different things... and niether have an impact on the other.

And you get to the blue field above the results by having all the things Google decides are a good thing. Good Click Through Rate... a Good Quality Score... Relevance.

Quit honestly it's not always the best place to be. Often a lower position in the 4, 5, or 6 range will provide for a better Return on Investment... verying slightly from product to product. I believe the main reason for this is because you find a lot of tire-kickers up there at the top.

Hope that helps!
