Hey,
I've used adwords before as I was given £20 worth of vouchers to spend in a month off my host. Unfortunatly I hadnt registered and so it took a good 10 days to get a campaign running by that time I became pretty unorganised and threw the whole £20 away without making any new members and only making 59 clicks

Since then I have really feared adwords but Ive looked and looked for another advertising techniques but keep being led back to adwords. Is it worth another shot? I have a nice £30 advertising budget atm. How can I make this work for me this time around?

Here's my site http://www.surfaceripple.com

Thanks,
Andy

You need to research keywords and target them very effectively. Dont go for general terms but the more specific terms you use more likely you will be converting them to members. But the disadvantage is more you restrict the terms there are less and less people searching for that term and so you should find a optimal way out.

Ok thanks for the advice... how do I go about the PPC system like going up to massive ammounts? Like paying £1.15 for a click on the keyword 'teen'?
I saw as before the keywords that I didn't invest in were increasing in impressions however didn't obtain any hits.
