Hi i have been using adword for last one week and i haven't added the conversion code to any of my file and i am surprised to know how can adword track my sales and show conversion cost and conversion rate without the conversion code.
I have also noticed that the average position told by adword is not that much accurate.
Any comments guys!!!!

Cheers

Thats odd, I've been using adwrods for a couple of weeks now too and the conversion rate field in mine is blank. I didn't install the code either I don't think adwords can track sales without installing the code on your website. I have found that the average position is pretty accurate on mine. The reports in your adwords account is not real time and if you do lots of tweaking to the CPC and daily budget it won't reflect very accuate until you leave it alone for a while and let the statistics build up enough results for accurate results.

Hey I just read an article that mentioned that some hosting companies have the adwords conversion scripts built into their hosting package, that might be why you are seeing the convesion rates. Justa thought.

put the conversion code on the page that the visitor hits after a sales/signup is made. Each time a visitor from google hits that page the code will read the cookie and register a sale/signup.
