How much do backlinks and content effect your Adwords campaign...

Well the title pretty much says it all. I am running a campaign for a web design / develop company. I am working on gaining back links (google webmaster tools says we have around 80) but I am concerned with this:

Is the lack of back links and lack of content on my landing page effecting my QS, CPC, or anything all around, for that matter?

Any input is much appreciated.

Back links affect absolutely nothing for Adwords

I figured as much that content would hurt QS. We are lacking both content and back links - working on building an organic presence while running PPC campaigns. Our website does need more content for sure. We plan on changing the web design soon, and adding lots of nice rich content.

I appreciate the input.
