Hi from South Africa,
I rely on the Google Adword Keyword Tool to find my keywords. I found one that that little bar beside it that was all white which I think means there is not much competition. It had 210,000 searches. I used the keyword but still get no traffic from that keyword phrase. Anybody know why?
Thanks

Hi,
are you sure you geotargeted it correctly? You can use the tool to check stats from specific regions..when setting campaigns the same applies.. Double check that.
It is also very possible that the phrase simply doesn't do good job in converting or being specific enough for your niche -> there's a reason why people don't advertise it
You shouldn't look at the numbers as absolutely accurate values. Think of them as relative so if one phrase is showing as 210,000 in the AdWords tool and another is showing as 1,000,000 the second one most likely gets searched more often. But it doesn't mean it was searched one million times.
As far as why you aren't getting traffic for that phrase there are far too many reasons why that could be to speculate. If you let us know the page you think should be getting traffic so we can look at it, someone here should be able to offer some advice.
Google adwords keyword tracking tool is accurate because it give the idea about keywords. It can be some different but you can take some ideas from there.
It gives you just some statics , nothing is certainly the solution but you must have some analysis by yourself, one of the best sources I ever use is my search referal keywords that is the successeded hits from SEs sepecially Google and then do my best on them
the result depends on different regions. for example if i want to find the keyword about jewelry, fashion jewelry or the related products i should choose the regions that i whant to ADs.
dear keyword are the main thing for your add,go through your content does it is ralevant to your keyword first.allwyz use buy that domain which has most searched keyword name in that.
google only gives u the idea but someyimes it works against.
Its results are not that 100% accurate. It will just give you an estimation of the number of searches of your keywords and their good results will mainly depend on your on-page optimization and link building...
