For example:
My client's company name is ABC.
When you type ABC under Google, two of his competitors appear on the sponsored links side. Does anyone know if it's legal? If not, how to I get rid of them?

I will also do some more research but just in case I have trouble finding the info, I thought I would ask. It could be helpful for other people as well.

Thanks for your help.

if their name is a registered trademark then you can have legal redress against the company using it.

Google's trademark policy and the Complaints procedure

Yeah, I just found that info and was going to post it here.
The page I found is : https://adwords.google.com/support/b...y?answer=47165

Thanks Chris. You know all the answers

I asked my client if they have a TM because I don't see it anywhere on the website.

Well not necessarily.

Like any consultant I might not know all the answers personally, but I do know where to find them

It happens that my client hasn't trademarked her company yet.

I don't think Google will see anything wrong with competitors advertising under her name now. Any thoughts?

EDIT:
"In the US, UK and Canada, Google
only monitors for trademarked terms in the ad text. If a competitor is
using your domain name as a keyword, this is not something we can
disapprove for."
