I spend between $100-300 per month. One of the great things about Adwords is that you can track the results of your advertising (conversion rates, Google Analytics) and adjust your campaign to make sure it's cost effective. In other words, if you know that every $1 of advertising on Google gets you $3 back, that's advertising money very well spent.

I've been advertising with Adwords for a couple years now but just revised all my campaigns after reading Adwords for Dummies. It's an easy to follow book that tells you everything you need to know to get started advertising with Google. I highly recommend it as a starting point.

It depends on your keywords. You can use adwords keyword estimator for that.

It is expensive if you don't know what you are doing. You just think it is a matter of typing in an advertising box, choosing keywords, and setting a CPC.

It is way more than that. You must first experiment with AdWords before you become a 'pro'. Finding the right keyword(s) is the difficult part, once you find a keyword that converts -- all hell breaks lose.

I spend roughly 500 to 1000 dollars on AdWords.

Didn't think it was that expensive now, used to be cheaper. Guess gas prices are making the internet more expensive too.

I haven't spent one cent advertising through Adwords, PPC programs, etc. I never felt the need to, but then again results will be different depending on what their website's goals are.
