I just created a new Adwords account and applied a $25 promotional code. This is what I get when I go to the billing page:

It won't run my ad because I don't have funds in my account, so it says. What's going on here?

But that's weird because it says
Quote:
Your AdWords prepaid funds have been exhausted.
We have stopped running your ads until you transfer additional funds into your AdWords account. Please visit your Make Payments page to fund your account and trigger our system to begin serving your ads again. If you need to update your payment details before attempting another payment, please visit your Billing Preferences page.
So I don't know what's going on

From your account that looks ok. There is the $5 Activiation charge and your $25 credit. It's showing you have $20 credit left to spend.

It should be showing. Drop an email to Adwords support. Might take a couple of days for them to reply but they are usually pretty good at solving the problem.

I totally agree with Mikesed and had a very similar thing happen to me at YSM a couple of years ago.

I use AdWords and I've always wondered how you prove that Google aren't ripping you off. How do I know what price I should really be charged for each click?

I guess we just trust Google!

Yes, on the one-hand, Google can set their prices at whatever they want. But on the other-hand, you know how much you're paying for each click and therefore you're agreeing to pay it. We live in a capitalist society. Quit whining about it. If you don't like their prices, no one's forcing you to stay with them. Personally, I've had so much success with Google, I get tired of listening to you cry-babies. You should be thankful to live in this wonderful country where you can make thousands of dollars just by sitting on your *** all day in front of a computer.
