Not banned, just not approved for unknown reasons

Hi ... 2-3 weeks after launching Grub Street , I applied for an AdSense account and was turned down. No reason for decision. Tonight, for the 5-6th random time, I tr-applied. Got this message, "Account Not Active. An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as it is associated with an unapproved application. For more information about your application, please review the message we sent to the email address you provided with your application." Well, that was 13 months, and several crash 'n' burns, ago; so no original e-mail. I can handle the issue if I can figure out how to contact g, at least I think I can.
Anyone know a e-mail address or phone number worth trying?
Long way to short question.
Thanks.

Hi Chris ... just to let you know, I e-mailed google via the link you suggested on 17 August and 15 October. No response to either. Thanks for the advice, none the less.

Its really some unknown problem with your site as often it takes approx one week for approval of an adsense account.

The reason you got rejected is because your site is not even 1 month old.
Wait for couple of month and then reapply again

Hi ... site was more than month old, when first applied to AdSense; more than a year old, last time I tried.
Any sense of what might be wrong with site? It's a PR4, with several PR4 and PR3 inside pages, if that helps.
Click bottom line of sig.
Thanks.

Hi ... I reapplied, again, about 2 weeks ago. Still no word, but will post response, when it arrives. Also, I erred, about when I first applied; it was about 4-5 weeks after launch, not 2-3. So, on the edge.

Hi ... fyi, the reply from google. Keep in mind, the site has never had an AdSense account; this is essentially the same message received since the first application, last August, and requests for further information, to this and other google departments go unanswered. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Hello xxxx
Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. After reviewing your application, our specialists have found that it does not meet our program criteria. Therefore, we are unable to accept you into our program.
We have certain policies in place that we believe will help ensure the effectiveness of Google ads for our publishers as well as for our advertisers. We review all publishers, and we reserve the right to decline any application. As we grow, we may find that we are able to expand our program to more web publishers with a wider variety of web content.
Please note that we may not be able to respond to inquiries regarding the specific reasons for our decision. Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
The Google AdSense Team

Well..........they do not want to tell you the reason behind not approving your adsense account and you can not do anything about it as they have rights to approve or not approve any account for any reason or may be without any reason.

This thread should be moved to the Adsense forum. I'd do it myself but I am not a moderator.

Hi Ernan ... thanks for the compliment. I may give AdSense one more go, in 6 or 8 weeks. Guess I'd like to know why, at this point, more than be accepted. Maybe google doesn't believe the site is what the site is and thinks there's a hidden scam. Thanks, and Happy New Year.

Hi ... am wondering if ME canceling my AdWords account has anything to do with google refusaling to give me an AdSense account? AdWords does clearly indicate all I have to do reactivate my account, and it's golden. I demanded it be deactivated because google couldn't live, with my spending limit, and kept going way over it. Happy New Year.

If you are so desperate to get google adsense account just open up a blogspot account, create a blog and post one or two posts and then reapply, i got my first adsense account that way (i had to request them to close that and open a new account cause i deleted my google account accidently). Anyway, i just had one small post, even then they easily approved it. Also, once you get an adsense account, make sure you email the adsense team before putting the adsense on your website asking them if it is ok or not, you'll probably get the specific answer if it is not ok.

Hi D-man ... not desperate to get AdSense. Am curious, maybe desperate, to know why always refused. Don't care for fascism, in any form. AdSense can boiler-plate a refusal, but when asked, "Why," should reply. When there's no reason not to explain, even briefly, ya got to wonder what's hidden and why. I refer you to the activities of 1600 Penn Avenue, c 2000-2008. Setting up a blog, getting AdSense and transferring it to my site kinda reeks of G. Gordon Liddy, et al, and makes me wanna wash my hands. Am disinclined to stoop to the level of D. Cheney, et al., even if it's only the web. Thanks, good luck and Happy New Year.
