Hi guys

I have recently done lots of SEO to all of my pages (still have a few colour issues lol) as part of my new SEO i have removed lots of google adsense ads from my pages, as i think i had too many 3 x 4 blocks on most of my pages, now i just have 1 colum of 4 ads now and my earnings from adsense has gone down and i now get a 3rd of what i got before.

I am just wondering should i add more ads ? or should i fine better placings for them ? does having lots of adsense ads effect all the SEO work i have put into my pages ?

Woc

I just one ad unit per page now, as it make the site look better, and my adsense earnings are slowly going up.

I have them right in the content so the CTR is alot higher on one ad unit!!!

It really depends on the design and layout of your site, and see whether it can accoomodate the ads. As a general rule, more ads often perform better and generate more revenue for you.

The best thing to do is really test and see. I disagree that more adds automatically means more money but it could. I think it depends on where there are bid gaps for the phrase showing ads.

If the top three bids are $6, $5.75, and $5.25 and then bid number four drops to $0.15 then you probably only want three ads showing. That's probably one ad block.

If ad positions 4-10 are close to the bids of the top three then more ads is probably better.

You might get more clicks with more ads, but it's possible the overall price you get paid per click drops. Test things for a reasonable time and see what happens. You could try placing more ads on some pages and less on others. You could try using one ad for awhile and then switch to more ads and see what worked best.

Test and measure and test and measure again.

I could not understand what you are asking. You mean to say after doing SEO you are unable to put more adsense or its just you are experimenting with the new design. I am not sure how SEO plays a role here.

I was wondering what SEO had to do with this as well.

I don't see anything SEO related inside of this post...but I also don't see how having multiple ad units lowers CPC....

I have had ad units 2-3 per page...getting .60-.90c clicks...o_o does this mean if I would of let them only have one ad to click from I would get higher paid clicks?
