I totally agree with you here. Why make things confusing with 50 sites when you can have one site that you can concentrate on.

I think infact 1 site can easily make 3 or 5 times more than 50 sites, if not even 50 times more money or even more than that.

It takes time to build 50 sites and each one has to be advertised and updated regularly with content.

By the time you have built, advertised and updated content on these 50 sites you whould have grown a single site that would have got alot more advertising done for it, ads better optimized as you know your visitors more, more content, better search engine rankings as you have had more time on SEO, etc.

Well said John. I totally agree.

I take it that were talking strictly adsense sights here...and yeah the initial post is correct. If you can produce a $1 a day and then multiply that effort then you basically have the right mind-set to build an adsense empire.

So you have 50 sites producing $50 per day, that's $2500 per day, which equals $75,000 per month.

I know guys who have done it, and are doing it.

It doesn't matter if it's adsense or not. The concept that I mentioned applies no matter how you are earning your money.

Why do SEO for 50 sites with adsense on when you can do it for one. Do you see Google making loads of sites, they are earning millions from their search engine ads.

Sites that earn the most from adsense normally only have a few sites or just one.

Look at digg.com, that site is now an authority site, it earns alot and everyone talks about it. The reasons for that is because they had the time to grow it because they didn't set up 50 to 100 sites thinking they could earn a quick buck. They realised they can earn a quick buck from just having the one site which is true.

I personally did every possible ways. I know what many peeps talking about. if you have a one good site that is enough. But the thing i explained is working for even worst case. Also good for some one who is looking adsense for living.

it is easy to make $1 a day, two make $2 you have to make twice the effort.but to make $50 you have to multiply 50 times. practically it is quiet impossible. instead of it you multiply the effort by ten times on 10 times .thats it you earn $50 a month

I think to me, ten websites is the maximum number to manage them efficiently. Too many websites will drive me crazy.

I have just three websites, will not be doing anymore!

I think what most people are really looking for is what it takes for *one* site to bring down the $50/day

I have honestly 360 websites.
I dont find it is difficult to manage all.
I purchased 200 .info domain names because godaddy.com reduced the price.
I think its all depends on your capacity.
I think i can handle maximum 1000 sites.! Im dead serious.

360 sites? Really cool.

If you spend an average time of 1 minutes (almost impossible) to write fresh content and update those sites, it will take you 360 minutes (6 hours) to do so.

i think there is no need to spend 50x time more but if we have good optimization and good costly keywords and then good site contents and traffic

if yes then we have to make a little extra effort not 50x
