Okay this is what happened ... I signed up for Adsense a couple months ago when my site was just an idea (beta) and being the ignorant and immature little geek that I was... I kept clicking on my own ads. Next thing you know I get banned from Adsense for invalid clicks.

Three months later, I sign back up and get accepted, because this time my brother is the new legal owner of the site.

Three weeks and 700 dollars later Google gets me again for finding out my site had originally been banned for invalid clicks.

My question is .. how can I get out of this one and claim my 700 dollars? After all I do not legally own the site anymore... it is ran by my brother! How can I convince Adsense to re-enable my account and release the money they owe me? Would somebody mind helping me come up with an ideal and effective response to Google's email below :

You can't get out of it and you can't get your $700. You were banned, When you get banned you aren't allowed to sign up again. The email doesn't say the site is banned (though i suspect it is) it says your new account was related to a previously banned account.

I would suggest signing up with another ad-provider and refrain from stealing.

Learn by your mistakes and move on. Everyone errs sometimes, that's part of life!

I mean, he's not the legal owner of the site or the account. So, he's not joining again. Rather, his brother was working on the site. So, doesn't he have the right to get the money he earned ? Google is evil. Yuck !!

But, I can't figure out anyway to convince this to Google. I'll tell you when I get some crazy ideas. Until then, I think you should send emails saying the truth to Google. Try that first.

I don't get what is evil about protecting your own business from someone who had previously proven himself to be untrustworthy.

There are millions of webmasters who keep their adsense accounts for years and years, never click the ads, never do anything against the terms and they never get banned. people should try that approach instead of theft.

Google don't owe us a living.

Don`t click on your ads! This is a good lesson.

great story, I tell all my friends to NOT click on my ads - just in case, anyway how much you gonna make, they would soon get bored, better to get real revenue in the long run

If the $700 was made genuinly.. tell google that and get your money... they will know if the money was made by fraud or not.

I will call you plain stupid and greedy. It is not about immaturity, and you must be above 18 if you got approved for adsense. Anyways, it is very difficult to get back into the program, next time when you create a new site, get an account in your mothers name and act like a gentleman!
