I am an adsense publisher for the past 1 years. I am running adsense in my blog http://www.resources-zone.com/blog. But still I have'nt recieved check from Google since I have not reached the minimum amount.

But yesteday I had a good CTR of 55% where for 35 Impressions I got 20 clicks and I was amazed when I see the amount increase in a single day which was not happened for a year long.

I am posting articles in my blog every day which are unique contents and testing this strategy to improve the CTR.

Anybody likes to suggests the improvement in my CTR are welcome.

i get paranoid when i get a high ctr, anything over 10% i get worried that google will ban me or something, they look for abnormal spikes etc, but 55% ctr is insane, i average 1% on 2 sites and 0.1 on another

yes, the high CTR is not good ,google can banned you as this.

If the clickthrough rate was continually that high for numerous pages you might get a query from Google, but this was from only 35 impressions. My overall rate is nowhere near ten per cent (sigh), but for individual blogs it is often 50 per cent+ on a few page views in a day

Well, I think Google will send you some warning or something. I remember getting as much 46% with my previous blog. Google emailed me telling me that I've got a suspicious rise in CTR and that Google reserves the right to control such abnormalities.

I suddenly went to the site and cleared all adsense ads. What if someone is trying to get me banned ? But, maybe your case would be different. But Google sure is vigilant about the whole adsense deal. So, do some research on how your CTR increased. I think Analytics may help.
